Guidelines

The Gosnell Foundation grant-making currently highlights the following program areas:

The Foundation may award grants for specific programs and general operating support.

Eligibility
The Foundation awards grants only to nonprofit, charitable organizations designated as exempt from income taxes under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and identified by the IRS as a public charity and whose activities and programs are compatible with the mission and objectives of the Gosnell Foundation.

The Foundation will not consider requests for individuals, endowments, political organizations, international organizations, or for profit entities.

Grant Application Process
Applications for all grant cycles are accepted by invitation only. If you have received an invitation to submit a grant application, you must submit your application via our online grants application portal per the instructions in your invitation.

Supplementary Information for Grantees

  • The Gosnell Foundation does not accept invitations to grantee fundraising events.

  • If funding is approved, you will be notified via email.

  • You will be required to submit a report for the funded grant.

  • Incomplete applications will not be considered.

  • The Foundation is to be notified if the funding goal has been reached prior to the Foundation's decision or if the project has been cancelled.

  • As part of the decision-making process, a Foundation representative may contact you to schedule a meeting.

An invitation to submit an application is not a funding guarantee. Inclusion on the list of recipients for any particular year is not a guarantee of either future funding or funding at the same level as a previous grant.
